Job Description: Mortgage Security,Inc.is looking for experienced underwriters for locations in Stoughton, Falmouth, Attleboro,Worcester and Danvers, MA.Additionally,looking for candidates in Rhode Island. Candidates must have solid knowledge of Fannie Mae and be duly authorized DE for FHA.Firm is a direct Fannie Mae seller.Responsibilities include: underwriting in timely fashion, adherence to guidelines and turn times. Maintain knowledge of all product and underwriting guidelines as directed by firm and its investors.Updating file status in system with comprehensive notes.Maintain thorough knowledge of firm's systems.Problem solving and interpersonal communication skills required. Fannie Mae candidate must have 5 years experience with sign-off authority. FHA candidate must be Direct Endorsed. Skills: Able to work in fastpaced environment.Ability to work independently. Extensive knowledge of retail credit analysis, mortgage banking products, processes and regulations.
